Upcoming Workshops and New Courses
We’re thrilled to be able to offer a full programme of special classes and workshops in addition to our regular timetable. Jenny-May runs a monthly Pranayama class along with regular Enhanced Practice Workshops across the year, and we welcome acclaimed visiting teachers from across the UK and further afield for their specialist sessions- previous guests include Faeq Biria, Christian Pisano, Bobby Clennell and Jayne Orton.

Pranayama
Sunday 12 October | 6.30pm – 8pm
You have to try it to find out just what a gift it is. Our pranayama classes run monthly on Sunday evenings 6.30-8 pm and are suitable for students with around 2 years regular attendance in classes.

Bobby Clennell was a close student of BKS Iyengar and Geeta S Iyengar. She is author of the popular ‘The Woman’s Yoga Book’. We are delighted to welcome Bobby back to Hereford for a weekend of seriously fun and inspiring workshops.
Friday: 6 – 8.30pm
Saturday: 11.30am – 2pm & 5-7.30pm
Sunday: 10am – 12.30pm
Suitable for students with minimum 6 months regular Iyengar Yoga practice.

Women’s Health WORKSHOP SERIES

Join us for a special workshop series on Women’s Health (date update: October 11, following 2 workshops TBC).
In her seminal work ‘Yoga: A Gem for Women’, Geeta Iyengar says ‘Woman has to pay a high price physically and physiologically for her role of mother, [partner], sister, friend. Stabilisation of the physical and mental states is achieved by āsana and prānāyāma. Her salvation lies in practising them’.
Working within Geeta Iyengar’s legacy and lineage, we’ll be exploring yoga in relation to 3 important stages of a woman’s life:
Menstruation
Peri-menopause
Menopause
Workshop 1: Menstruation
How to adapt your practice for all stages of the menstrual cycle. How to adapt for common menstrual disorders including heavy bleeding and irregular cycle.
Suitable for everyone with around 6 months experience in Iyengar yoga classes.

ENHANCED PRACTICE

Our Enhanced Practice workshops run seasonally throughout the year, join us for the last one of 2025!
The long-form workshop format is an excellent opportunity to delve deeper into your yoga practice, allowing you time to try out a range of approaches and experience an openness and release that’s almost impossible to access in shorter sessions. We also take a break for drinks and food (all provided)– so it’s a great way to get to know class-mates better too.
Suitable for regular students of 1 year or more who have an interest in exploring yoga in all its aspects.


Christian Pisano
March 13-15 2026
We’re thrilled to announce that bookings are now live for Christian Pisano’s return to our studio in March 2026. It will run as per last year, with six sessions running over the three days.
It will sell out quickly, so be sure to book your space to avoid disappointment. Get in touch if you need to spread the cost; we can arrange delayed payment.
The weekend is suitable for students with 4 years or more of regular practice in Iyengar Yoga. It is not suitable for pregnant students or those with significant injury or health conditions.

SATURDAY: 9 am – 12 noon | 3 – 5.30 pm | 6 – 7 pm
SUNDAY: 9 am – 12 noon | 3 pm – 5 pm
